Kim is the CFO of EQL Games and has over 20 years of finance and operations experience in start-ups and early stage companies. Kim started out in public accounting in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young, which fueled her interest in early stage, high-growth companies. The first company that Kim joined out of public accounting was The Cobb Group, which was an early stage, high growth company at the time and actually sold several times while Kim was there. From there, Kim co-founded a couple of companies with some of her Cobb Group colleagues. Kim co-founded TechRepublic, an online media company that provides real world information to IT pros and served as its Chief Financial Officer. TechRepublic was acquired by Gartner Group in 2000. After that, Kim co-founded IT Business Edge, an online media and database marketing company, and served as its Chief Financial Officer. IT Business Edge was acquired by QuinStreet (NASDAQ:QNST) in 2011. Since the sale of IT Business Edge, Kim has been providing fractional CFO Services to multiple companies, including RowdMap that sold to Cotiviti (NYSE:COTV) in 2017.
