LOUISVILLE, KY – June 26, 2025 – EQL Labs, the in-house game studio of EQL Games, recently launched its first original title, Detroit Tigers Grand Slam. The new iLottery game went live in May, in partnership with the Michigan Lottery and Major League Baseball’s Detroit Tigers.

Detroit Tigers Grand Slam marks a major milestone for EQL Labs, showcasing the studio’s ability to create licensed digital games that combine sports, entertainment, and lottery innovation. Detroit Tigers Grand Slam takes the tried-and-true tumbler mechanic to a whole new level. Players aim for the bleachers with the Longball! bonus game, keeping their eyes peeled as their teammate is at bat – he’s known to turn losing results into winners!

“This game is a great example of how we can blend the excitement around our home-state teams with the excitement of iLottery games,” said Suzanna Shkreli Michigan Lottery Commissioner. “We’re always looking for ways to deliver new and exciting content to our players, and Detroit Tigers Grand Slam hits it out of the park.”

The game was developed exclusively by EQL Labs, reflecting EQL Games’ continued investment in original content that leverages high-profile licenses and appeals to a wide audience of digital lottery players. Launched just a little over a month ago, the game has already sparked over 5 million rounds of play among Michigan Lottery customers.

“The launch of Detroit Tigers Grand Slam is more than just a game release. It’s the official launch of EQL Labs, our in-house studio dedicated to crafting unique, one-of-a-kind games for the digital lottery space,” said Brad Cummings, Founder and CEO of EQL Games. “This game reflects our commitment to innovation and marks the beginning of a new chapter where we control both the creative vision and the execution. We’re proud to partner with the Michigan Lottery and the Detroit Tigers to bring a bespoke game to players in Michigan.”

Detroit Tigers Grand Slam is available for play on the Michigan Lottery’s digital platform.
